Accessible by design.

Clinic82 believes that access to clinical information and to the care it describes should not be gated by disability or assistive-technology use. We manage accessibility as a design responsibility rather than an afterthought, and we improve continuously based on real feedback and technical review.

Working towards WCAG 2.2 AA.

Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

We have not commissioned a formal independent WCAG audit at the time of publication. We therefore do not claim full WCAG conformance. When such an audit is completed, the conformance status will be updated on this page with a link to the audit summary.

Design and engineering practices.

The following practices are embedded in how our website is designed, built and tested:

• Semantic HTML and landmark regions for keyboard navigation and screen readers.
• Meaningful alt text on images that carry information.
• Descriptive link text — links are meaningful when read out of context.
• Colour contrast targeted at WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.
• Type sizing that scales with browser zoom without breaking layout.
• Focus indicators visible for keyboard users.
• Motion-sensitive users respected — decorative animations are minimal and can be reduced by the operating system's Reduce Motion preference where applicable.
• Content structured with clear headings, short paragraphs and generous whitespace.

Areas we are still improving.

We know the following areas can be improved and are actively working on them:

• Some editorial imagery may not yet carry the ideal descriptive alt text; we are reviewing continuously.
• Some third-party embeds (video, maps, embedded booking widgets) may not conform to the same standard as our own pages; we choose vendors accordingly and will replace those that do not meet our threshold.
• Some interactive components (multilingual switch, sticky navigation on small viewports) may have keyboard-flow edge cases we have not yet remediated.

If any part of this website is difficult to use because of a disability, please contact us. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and to keep you informed of remediation timelines.
